• Dr. Megan Badger

    Dr. Megan Badger is a 2025 graduate of Saint George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine located in Grenada, West Indies. She started her veterinary education during the COVID-19 pandemic online at home in California before relocating with her Golden Retriever McGee to Grenada. While there, she developed a love of Internal Medicine, enjoyed the beautiful beaches, and adopted her first cat, Midge.
    She completed her clinical rotations at Virginia Tech, where she deepened her love of internal medicine. While working at Virginia Tech, she adopted her second cat, Frankie from a shelter. Before veterinary school, she completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
    Dr. Badger has had a love of animals from an early age and worked in veterinary hospitals throughout her college education. These experiences helped solidify her commitment towards helping animals and pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Badger has special interests in internal medicine, surgery, and caring for geriatric pets.
    Dr. Badger recently moved to Charlottesville with her two cats Midge and Frankie and her Golden Retriever McGee. When she is not working at the veterinary hospital, Dr. Badger enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with her family.
